TRIPLE FOREST MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION
Cober Printing Ltd. has been certified by three main forest management programs: In July 2007 it attained FSC certification, and in May 2008 it attained certifications to the Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and the Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI). The three are leading international non-profit organizations dedicated to responsible forest management.
An element of Cober’s Corporate Social Responsibility Policy is its efforts to become more transparent and accountable to its stakeholders. There is a growing awareness and demand from our client base for products derived from certified forests. Our clients want that assurance. We are responding to this demand by changing our purchasing and procurement procedures and by partnering with leading forestry certifiers. Our recent tri-certification expands the group of certified products we can offer our clients.
All of the industry should become more aware of their impact on both the current and future community – our involvement with FSC, PEFC and SFI has added a greater dimension to our entire environmental programme.
